#TrendyTuesday: Different in denim

Precaution: this post serves as an internet hug and may be a little sappy.

It’s funny how life works. The other day I was standing in line at Starbucks and caught myself staring at the girl in front of me. Not to be awkward, but I couldn’t take my eyes of her! Haha! I LOVED her style but stood there thinking, “She’s so cool; there is no way I could pull that look off.” Her look was based off an oversized denim jumper. I wanted to be that cool.

Getting in my car, I told myself I was going to head across the road to the Hurstborne location (Louisville) and see if there was anything similar. I was just going try to be one of the cool kids.

Fast forward to this past weekend and I was loving my stripe-and-button ensemble – inspired by the pretty lady in Starbucks and my intuition. Here’s what this look consisted of:

  • J.Crew boyfriend tee ($3.99)

  • Quid metallic slip on sandals ($3.99)

The past few months, I’ve been struggling with the definition of “my style.” Wondering what I wanted to project and how I want it to share it with Th

e Good Life readers. The moral of this story is that no one defines you but YOU. So here’s to living in denim and trying new things!
