#ThriftyThursday: 2017's greatest trend

December 21, 2017

#ThriftyThursday: 2017 has been full of trends, but one of my favorites has been neckline designs. Think the cold shoulder, keyhole, and the increasingly popular “V.” By shopping at my favorite Goodwill locations, I have found a thrifty alternative to Instagram-worthy trends!

Sweaters, sweatshirts, and basic tops that have the distinct “V” cut is all the rage. Because I Goodwill-hack my favorite styles, I purchased this ultra soft LNA sweater from the New Circle location (Lexington) for just $3.99! Tip: If there is a specific style you like, shop your local Goodwill for the same look at a great price.

There is nothing more useful than a pair of dark wash, hole-free denim! I am a big advocate because they are classy and practical. I purchased these Aeropostale jeans at the Glasgow location for just $5.29!  I’m breaking them in because they were crisp and in great condition.

Y’all already know if it’s cheetah print, I’m all in. I purchased this pair of Sperry loafers at the Campbell Lane location (Bowling Green). I love a quality shoe that has personality! This pair is so comfy and is perfect for casual wear or basic business. These were just $3.99! These beauties are perfect for fall, winter, and spring!

Accessories haven’t always been by niche, but three-strand bracelet is changing my ways! It’s turquoise, lavender, and silver tints are LOVELY. I’ll be wearing it through the spring. Tip: Treat yourself to one of the glass jars of jewelry for fun!

2018 is quickly approaching. Walk into the new year with an organized closet and a fashion-forward wardrobe from your local Goodwill!

Best,

A
