A holiday wardrobe that's merry and bright
Christmas is just days away and the picture-perfect outfit for your church service and holiday dinner plans are requirements for the “Nice List!” I have styled two different looks for “The Good Life.” If it’s a dress and bling event, the first look is your winner! If it’s a more casual gathering, consider outfit number two. Either way, you’ll be the best dressed this holiday season!
Look #1

This mock neck Style and Co. red sweater dress is party perfect! I purchased this great buy at the Dixie Highway location (Elizabethtown) with the original tag of $59.50 still attached. It’s cable-knit pattern is festive and the marbled gray buttons are so sweet. I especially love the fit of this dress because of its three-quarter length sleeves; they’re great for all of winter’s weather! Tip: When I shop, I always keep an eye out for festive colors and unique style sleeves.
I love pairing red with black for a classy finish! I chose black faux-leather APT9 ankle booties for just $3.99 and black tights for $2.59 from Tradewinds location (Somerset). Tip: For shopping at Goodwill, keep in mind previous thrifty purchases so that you can finish your holiday look by mixing and matching!

Look #2

A stunning sweater is a necessity for a festive outfit! This Vineyard Vines 100% cashmere wrap sweater is the epitome of style and class. It’s seriously SO SOFT and I paid just $4.29 from the Northfield location (Louisville). Tip: By knowing designer tags, you’ll be able to keep tabs on every department.
Because of the cut, I chose a very festive red shell for underneath! Because of the cashmere, a silky fabric is ideal. This tank was just $2.29 from the Millpond location (Lexington). Tip: Be wise with mixing and matching your fabrics.
I broke girl-code again and wore light-wash denim in the winter. (I ignore these “rules!”) These Old Navy “Rockstar” skinnies are so trendy because of their raw hem! I purchased this pair for just $5.29 at the Richmond location. Tip: I mentioned in a previous #ThriftyThursday that all you need is a thrifted pair of denim, scissors, and a DIY tutorial to make an authentic pair!
I accessorized with a vintage green clutch for just $3.99 and a vintage gold and pearl bangle from the Hillview location (Louisville).
There you have it: an easy way to make this busy time of year more affordable and stylish! Share your holiday look with Goodwill Industries of Kentucky on social media!
Best,
