#ThriftyThursday: Steve Madden, the champ of all outfit inspo

October 20, 2017

#ThriftyThursday: Some trends come and go. And some just stay put! This #ThriftyThursday is all about styling unique and basic pieces together for a variety of fall looks in the same outfit.

I constantly look for dresses that are atypical. When I ran across this Aryn K. two-toned Anthropolgie dress, I fell in love! The metal roping crosses the chest, and the corduroy skirt makes for uniquely paired textures. It zips straight off the back, but falls to the shoulder as a scoop neck. It is perfect just as is, or it would look great with an oversized sweater or jacket! I purchased it for just $5.29 at the Stonewall location (Lexington).

While I was at the Hartland location (Lexington), I found this sweet H&M denim jacket! I don’t think this trend has ever gone out of style, and that is totally fine with me! For this dress, I like my jacket slightly fitted, giving more of a feminine fit. This originally $40 jacket was just $6.29. It can totally change the style of your outfit - just look at these two different pictures.

I saw these BRAND NEW Steve Madden wedges at the Hartland location after I purchased the dress and knew it was a perfect pair! The camel-colored leather, wooden texture, and rustic studs make up the ideal year-round wedge. These beauties retail for nearly $100 at a department store. I paid just $3.99! (No, I am not kidding!)

Long story short, keep your eye out for things of your taste! This dress, jacket, and pair of wedges have become one of my favorite outfits this season. Shop your local Goodwill for your #ThriftyThursday!

Best,

A
