#ThriftyThursday: Power red and flared legs spice up business casual

#ThriftyThursday: Business casual is my favorite style, but honestly, it’s easy to get in a routine of the same combo. If there is any inspo I am taking this season, it’s that neutrals need a bold pop of color and the early 2000s flared pants are back and better than ever!

When I ran across this Express wrap top at the Bellerive location (Nicholasville) I knew it was a hit. The original $39.90 tags were still attached! I love its quality cotton material, and v-neck cut. With a loose waist and tailored arms, this is so much more than the average long-sleeve tee. It’s definitely a staple for the upcoming seasons. And to think I purchased for it for just $3.99!

I’m loving all the bootcut and wide-legged pants this season! I found these olive flared capris at the Frankfort location for just $4.29. These will carry me through November, if this Kentucky temperature stays as warm as it is! They are so versatile and fun. Don’t be afraid to try a cut other than skinnies!

I have featured these J. Crew two-toned flats in August, but they are too good to not mention again! They are the perfect fall business sandal. Instead of their $80 retail, I found them for just $3.99 at the Ring Road location (Elizabethtown).

Cheetah print has my heart. (But seriously…) Back in August I told you about new Taylorsville Road location (Louisville) and their fantastic handbag selection. Well, here it is ladies! I snagged this $148 calf-hair Fossil wristlet in the speciality priced section for just $11.99. I have used it for everything - special occasions and running errands. It’s the ideal small handbag!

Instead of pairing neutrals with neutrals, mix it up! Patterns, bright colors, and wide-legged pants are what’s trending. Shop your local Goodwill for your #ThriftyThursday!
