#ThriftyThursday: Suede is this fall's style staple

#ThriftyThursday: For the past year skirts have been making fashion statements! Suede skirts, though, have been the topic of discussion. Suede is so much more than a textured fabric. Suede is a base, personality, and most importantly,

I LOVE suede everything, but this caramel suede skirt is the greatest find of them all! I purchased it for $3.99 at the Northfield location (Louisville). It has sweet pockets and belt loops (if you’re into that look)! It zips and buttons in the front and is such a practical length. When you’re sifting through racks, look for suede (not just skirts)! You will find that suede is versatile, timeless, and can dress up any basic outfit.

Aztec-inspired themes and fabrics have been super popular in the recent fall season, and I am happily stuck in that trend. Atmosphere, a brand sold at stores such as Nordstrom and Anthropolgie, is the designer of this precious jacket. It feels like a cardigan and fits like a blazer! I purchased it in perfect condition for $6.29 at the Crestwood location.

My sources of fashion inspiration have emphasized that bold colors are IN this fall! This royal silk-like Ann Taylor shell fits the trend. I love the gathered neckline! This type of blouse is perfect for tucking into skirts, too. I paid just $3.99 at the Bardstown location.

I ran across this fold-over boutique-branded purse at the Ring Road location (Elizabethtown) and knew it would be the perfect addition! It is so roomy, adjusts to a cross body, and is so practical! A great deal for $3.99.

Don’t pass up an opportunity to thrift suede (or anything cute for that matter)! You’ll find yourself speaking fashion advice after your next visit to Goodwill.
