#ThriftyThursday: "Chasing" a bargain

August 3, 2017

#ThriftyThursday: There are some finds you instinctively know you MUST take home, and this trendy chaise lounge chair was just that! When I walked into the Ring Road location (Elizabethtown) this cushion of comfort was greeting me. I loved it immediately! After circling the store twice, I went back and decided I would make it fit in my car. For just $149.99 it was the newest addition to my apartment!

At original retail, a similar piece of furniture would cost anywhere from $275 to $600 considering the quality. My thrifted chair was in pristine condition upon purchase. The fabric showed no sign of wear, the cushion and springs were full of life, and its legs were fully supportive. It had been sitting on the sales floor for less than 24 hours.

Once the chair was spot-cleaned, its unique colors and pattern was enhanced! It matches the scheme of my room perfectly and provides me a new place to relax and study for class.

This #ThriftyThursday proves you just never know what Goodwill find is waiting for you at the door!

Best,

A
