Back to school styles with WDRB in the Morning

Goodwill’s newly opened Taylorsville Road store opened its doors bright and early Wednesday, August 2 for WDRB in the Morning. Featured reporter Keith Kaiser promoted back-to-school shopping at Goodwill!

WDRB’s segment highlighted Goodwill’s money-conscience options for local families. Kaiser mentioned how students of all ages find it important to define their unique style by shopping for name brand items. Luckily for local families, the Taylorsville Road store’s racks were stocked with high-quality merchandise such as a Gap Kids, American Eagle, Justice, Polo, Crewcuts, and more. For college students, home goods were tagged and ready for a new home. Goodwill stores meet a variety of students’ needs with athletic accessories, backpacks, and shoes. By back-to-school shopping at Goodwill, students have a wide selection of name brands to choose from, and parents face a lighter cost. Additionally, by shopping at Goodwill, parents can teach their children valuable lessons regarding the environment and the community. In 2016, Goodwill diverted more than 10 million pounds of items from landfills and placed more than 2,800 Kentuckians into jobs!
