#ThriftyThursday: Work-week wardrobe

#ThriftyThursday: Whether you are well-established in your career or are still in school, freshening your work-week wardrobe is a must! This week I put together a classic look for the working woman.

I found this two-toned Tommy Hilfiger button-up at the Campbell Lane location (Bowling Green) for just $3.99. I love the detailing, color scheme, and lightweight fabric. This blouse is versatile and would look great with a red skirt or dark-wash jeans!

Finding a pair of “go to” dress pants is always a challenge. I purchased these black pencil Jules and Leopold dress pants for just $4.29. Their texture and fabric allow them to be worn for every season! My suggestion is to look for a style of pant that allows a blouse to be tucked in or left out. This will make mixing and matching much easier!

I featured this quilted Betsey Johnson tote last fall, but it is my favorite! It is made for a day on the job or traveling. I purchased it in perfect condition for just $15.99 at the Fern Creek location (Louisville). It has four pockets and a deep structure to hold a laptop, planner, make-up, and any other necessities! Find yourself a large tote for all your work-week must-have’s.

Through my thrifting trips, I have learned that mixing and matching thrifty finds can make your closet more colorful, practical, and stylish. Share your work-week look with us!

Best,

A
