March Madness

We’re looking for 16 fashion-minded guys and gals to participate in our second annual March Madness contest!

How’s it work?

1. Search Goodwill stores for an outfit. 2. Submit a photo of someone modeling your outfit. You can direct message Goodwill Industries of Kentucky on Facebook or email lauren.deitering@goodwillky.org. 3. Compete for prizes!

Official rules:

The first 16 people to comment “I’m in” will be eligible to participate (Goodwill employees are not eligible).

Search Goodwill stores for the perfect outfit and submit a photo by direct messaging us on Facebook or emailing lauren.deitering@goodwillky.org. You must include the Goodwill location where your outfit was purchased. Deadline for submissions is Monday, February 27.

Outfits will be paired against each other, and our followers will cast votes for their favorites. Outfits with the most votes will advance to the next round.

The following prizes will be awarded to the winners of each round:

Sweet Sixteen, March 1-14: $5 Goodwill gift certificate Elite Eight, March 16-21: $10 Goodwill gift certificate Final Four, March 22-23: $15 Goodwill gift certificate Championship, March 28: $50 Goodwill gift certificate

Last year, Shelby from Somerset was our winner! This year, it could be YOU.

our history

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Louisville since 1923. Goodwill gives people up—not a handout—so they can experience the dignity and independence that comes from earning a paycheck.

our mission

We help people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment to gain a better quality of life.

what we do

Goodwill collects and sells donated items to fund programs for Kentuckians who have disabilities or other challenges in finding and maintaining traditional employment. On-the-job training, job preparation skills, and employment counseling are just a few of Goodwill's services that benefit thousands of adults each year and strengthen families in Kentucky's communities.
