#ThriftyThursday: Proactive shopping while timing is perfect

January 26, 2017

#ThriftyThursday: When scanning the racks at Goodwill, I can’t help but shop for others. When my mom made some healthy changes to her lifestyle, her closet demands a smaller size in clothing! So, I took an adventure to the Northfield location (Louisville) to search for versaltie pieces!

I believe this navy polka-dotted Merona jacket speaks for itself. There are so many flattering features that accentuate its perfect condition. The jacket is double-breasted, pleated at the waist, and deep in pockets. For just $4.99 I purchased my mom comfort, quality, and style. I guarantee she will pair this lightweight beauty with a button-up blouse.

My advice to you: be proactive! While it is only January, spring is right around the corner. Take advantage of the variety of seasonal wear Goodwill has to offer. Whether you are interested in Christmas decorations or summer swimsuits, optimize the opportunity!

Best,

A

what we do

Goodwill collects and sells donated items to fund programs for Kentuckians who have disabilities or other challenges in finding and maintaining traditional employment.
