#ThriftyThursday: Best of Betsey

#ThriftyThursday: Aside from the famous “little black dress,” every girl needs a large black tote for the winter season. I discovered this quilted Betsey Johnson beauty at the Fern Creek location.

When visiting Goodwill stores, I always look behind the counter for unique, mint-condition finds. I spotted this #ThriftyThursday and immediately requested to take a closer look. I was impressed with the quality of donation; the tote appeared barely used.

Betsey Johnson, one of my favorite designers, is fashion-forward, practical, and of great quality. Two-linked leather straps and plentiful pockets make for a great everyday handbag or travel purse. I scored this Goodwill gem for just $12.99.

Moral of my story: I always shop for the next season, ensuring my wardrobe and home decor is fashion forward. Shop your local Goodwill today!

Best,

A

our history

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Louisville since 1923. Goodwill gives people up—not a handout—so they can experience the dignity and independence that comes from earning a paycheck.

our mission

We help people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment to gain a better quality of life.

what we do

Goodwill collects and sells donated items to fund programs for Kentuckians who have disabilities or other challenges in finding and maintaining traditional employment. On-the-job training, job preparation skills, and employment counseling are just a few of Goodwill's services that benefit thousands of adults each year and strengthen families in Kentucky's communities.
