#ThriftyThursday: Pumpkin spice and everything nice

October 20, 2016

#ThriftyThursday: Pumpkin spice and everything nice. We all fall, but transforming your closet can be a tedious task. To make your morning routine a little easier, I have one tip: start with staples, as I did here.

1. The button-up. I will admit – I used to never buy button-up shirts because I never knew what to pair them with. The pictured J. Crew gingham button-up was purchased from the Clays Mill store in Lexington. Here, I matched it with a cotton dress, but it would look great with a skirt, jeans, or even shorts in the spring!

2. The dress. Caramel-colored everything is in style. This Ya Los Angeles sleeveless dress from the Northfield store in Louisville is so versatile. On your next Goodwill trip, look for a thrifty find that would be an asset to your wardrobe.

3. The boots. I love designer boots, but I am not willing to pay retail price for a pair. I found a brown pair of Michael Kors boots at the Campbell Lane store in Bowling Green for $9.99. Keep your eye out for your thrifty find!

By taking your wardrobe decisions to Goodwill, deciding on a fall outfit may be as easy as one, two, three!

Best,

Adrienne
