#ThriftyThursday: Guest blog from The Little Lady!

I've not always been a thrifty shopper, but for the past five years, my heart (and wallet) has belonged to Goodwill. The simple idea of hunting for that perfect piece to add to my closet for a fraction of what I used to pay, gives me life! Being the die-hard shopper that I am, I love hunting for new and trendy pieces to add to my closet without breaking the bank. I now consider myself a "Goodwill guru."
About once per week, I take my lunch as an opportunity to head to the local Goodwill. Because I only have an hour for lunch, I head straight for the accessories; you can never have too much jewelry, shoes, or handbags if you ask me! Then, I make my way around the clothing area, searching for colors and prints that jump out at me. Surprisingly, I always find the best items while "power thrifting" during my lunch breaks.

In my latest hunt, I found this adorable confetti-print skirt at the Hartland location in Lexington for only $4. I spotted the lively print the moment I walked in the door and made a beeline for it. I thought it went nicely with two other items I previously purchased at this location: a black tank ($2) and lavender J.Crew pumps ($4). I literally did a happy dance in the store the day I found these! Then, I accessorized with the stone necklace, which was a gift from a friend.
In total, my entire outfit, head to toe, cost only $10! This is the perfect day-to-night look; just add a blazer, and it’s great for the office.
