#ThriftyThursday: Sunny and 75 degrees

#ThriftyThursday: Sunny and 75 degrees – my cotton dress and gingham button up plead for salt and sun while I am in the blooming Bluegrass.

My turquoise Old Navy dress is light and cool, perfect for a long walk on the beach. While a Gap dress shirt is not a usual match, the peach adds a spring undertone. Lately, I have been inspired to pair unlikely articles of clothing together to expand the depth of closet and make my mornings more fun.

Here is my challenge to you, “The Good Life” followers: dress for how you feel. Today, my outfit is an accurate representation of my spirit, smiley and warm-hearted. I share this sentiment when visiting the beach!

When shopping at any Goodwill store, be daring and purchase the item that you cannot take your eyes off! My turquoise Old Navy dress was beaming, and while I was convinced I did not own a thing to match, it made me feel “beachy.”

Sunny and 75 – life is good today.

our history

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Louisville since 1923. Goodwill gives people up—not a handout—so they can experience the dignity and independence that comes from earning a paycheck.

our mission

We help people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment to gain a better quality of life.

what we do

Goodwill collects and sells donated items to fund programs for Kentuckians who have disabilities or other challenges in finding and maintaining traditional employment. On-the-job training, job preparation skills, and employment counseling are just a few of Goodwill's services that benefit thousands of adults each year and strengthen families in Kentucky's communities.
