Hop into Easter's fashion

Easter service is the moment of truth – you have to be dressed to the nines! Every year I begin searching Goodwill stores for the perfect Easter outfit in late February.

This year, I will end the Lenten season with a floral skirt, ruffled J. Crew top, Sam Edelman wedges, and a traditional basket purse. The cut and color combination is a spring classic, ensuring I hold my own in family pictures. I prefer pastels and prints while keeping it conservative and classy. Easter morning is prime time to wear a subtle pair of wedges and a bold print. When you look your best, you feel your best!

During my detailed explorations, I have found an abundance of children dress clothes at Goodwill stores. If your little one is in need of Sunday best, visit a store near you. Also, Goodwill stores accept donations of household items; after the Easter Bunny comes to visit, donate your unwanted decorations or baskets.

Fresh eggs and a fresh wardrobe – hop on over to your favorite Goodwill location!

our history

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Louisville since 1923. Goodwill gives people up—not a handout—so they can experience the dignity and independence that comes from earning a paycheck.

our mission

We help people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment to gain a better quality of life.

what we do

Goodwill collects and sells donated items to fund programs for Kentuckians who have disabilities or other challenges in finding and maintaining traditional employment. On-the-job training, job preparation skills, and employment counseling are just a few of Goodwill's services that benefit thousands of adults each year and strengthen families in Kentucky's communities.
