#WhoWoreItBetter: Jessica Alba may be ready for the streets of Hollywood, but I am ready for an afternoon with friends in Lexington! My Jessica copy-cat ensemble is from the New Circle location in Lexington.

Let’s take a look at this casual, but chic style from top to bottom:

Sunglasses: These shades speak for themselves.

Banana Republic cap-sleeved sweater: A solid-colored, comfy shell is a necessity in a busy woman’s closet. Jessica and I chose pretty pastels as our base.

Merona jean jacket: Every girl needs a jean jacket; it’s the perfect item for mixing and matching! Whether it is dark or acid wash, a denim outer layer has the potential to be the foundation of a relaxed, comfy look. The jacket I am rocking was in mint condition; the denim was still stiff from having just been in its original store. Jackets are $4.99 at any of our 64 stores in Kentucky.

Floral-themed scarf: Accessories are what makes an outfit. For $1.59, this satin floral scarf was so fun! This article is a notable transitional piece from winter into spring, and it could even be worn as a belt when the days become warmer.

Rosetti purse: A purse that you can use every day of the week is hard to find. This Mauve Rosetti tote was hard to pass up! Having a variety of pockets and lengthy straps will make the workweek less of a hassle, but the edgy color allows it to be taken out on Saturday night.

Who wore this look better? Obviously, Goodwill did!

our history

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Louisville since 1923. Goodwill gives people up—not a handout—so they can experience the dignity and independence that comes from earning a paycheck.

our mission

We help people with disabilities or other disadvantages achieve and maintain employment to gain a better quality of life.

what we do

Goodwill collects and sells donated items to fund programs for Kentuckians who have disabilities or other challenges in finding and maintaining traditional employment.
