#GoodwillDate

#GoodwillDate: You and your significant other have planned this night for weeks. You need a candle-lit dinner or a night out to revive your relationship. You are not alone if you are feeling a little grey; statistically, most couples break up the first two weeks after Valentine’s Day.
So, to keep your relationship fresh, spunky, and fun, Goodwill has a “pre-date” idea for you and your other half!
My mom and dad went on their first date in February 1990. Twenty-six years later, they went on their first #GoodwillDate! The rules are as follows:
With a $10 budget, select an outfit for your significant other.
The catch: it is rude to decline a gift, so you must wear that outfit on your date. It is the right thing to do.
Back to ma and pops:
Mom left with a cute dress jacket, a purple chunky necklace and a pink clutch. She was tickled pink. Dad sported a dress coat, a Tommy Hilfiger tie and a University of Kentucky baseball cap. Obviously, his outfit was matchy-matchy.
Love is in the air, and warm weather is in the forecast! Make your date night a #GoodwillDate, because nothing is more attractive than a thrifty find for a progressive cause!
Best,
A
